1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love; and he that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him.

Looking for Love

All of us—whether we’re fifteen or fifty, married or single—need the kind of love that makes life worth living.

You know what I’m talking about. You want someone to make you feel glad that you’re alive. Someone to love you—not for how you look or what you can do—but for just being you. You want a love you can depend on when everyone else has failed you.

Alas that kind of love is hard to find. Turn on your radio and someone will be singing about the a person who loved them and who let them down. Tune to a talk show and a daughter reveals the painful memory of a father who never loved her. The problem is universal. In some way we’ve all been wounded in our search for love.

The good news is that there is a love that can heal any broken heart. A love that you don’t have to earn. An unconditional love that is stronger than any human love.

God is the source of that love. When our lives are open to Him, God’s love can flow to us and through us to others. But when sin separates us from Him, life is an emotional roller coaster. One day we feel loved; the next day we don’t.

God’s love is so great that He sent His own Son to bridge the gap that separates us from Him. The Bible says, “God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

That’s love! Jesus Christ gave His life so that we would know His Father’s love forever. There is no sin that we will ever commit that has not been paid for by Christ’s death. Nothing can separate us from His love.

Why not get off the roller coaster today? Only God’s love can give you the security you’re really looking for. His unchanging love can free you to be all you’re meant to be. You can be sure of God’s love if you will:

Recognize that your sin separates you from God: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)
.
Realize that God loves you, and believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins: “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

Receive Him into your life by faith: “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9)

You may use your own words or follow an example like this one..Dear Jesus, I know I have sinned; please forgive me. I know You love me so much that You died for me—suffered in my place. I put my trust in You as my Savior, and I ask You to come into my heart and show me what love really is. Please be the leader of my whole life. I want to live a clean new life for you now. Thank you Jesus. I love you. Amen.

Is God only Love...

God delights in his people

2 Chronicles 9:8 "Blessed be the LORD your God who delighted in you, setting you on His throne as king for the LORD your God; because your God loved Israel establishing them forever, therefore He made you king over them, to do justice and righteousness."

God loves us his people

Nehemiah 13:26 " Did not Solomon king of Israel sin regarding these things? Yet among the many nations there was no king like him, and he was loved by his God, and God made him king over all Israel; nevertheless the foreign women caused even him to sin.

God loves us individually

Psalm 45:7 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;Therefore God, Your God, has anointed YouWith the oil of joy above Your fellows.

God give us joy

Hosea 11:1 [ God Yearns over His People ] When Israel was a youth I loved him, And out of Egypt I called My son.

God loves his people and calls them out of slavery of sin

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

God loved the world, and gave Jesus for the world Whoever believes in him has eternal life

Ephesians 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

God took pity on us and loved us pity means mercy

Ephesians 5:2 and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

We should show love to everyone in everything we do, say, and think

2 Thessalonians 2:16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace,

God the Father and Jesus the Son gave us eternal life

1 John 4:10 (ICB)
10 True love is God's love for us, not our love for God. God sent his Son to be the way to take away our sins.

God loves us first Then he took our sins and punishment for us Now we love God

1 John 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

We should love others like Jesus loved us

I love to tell the story..

I love to tell the story of unseen things above,
Of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love.
I love to tell the story, because I know 'tis true;
It satisfies my longings as nothing else can do.

To tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love.

The message of salvation from God's own holy Word.



I love to tell the story, for those who know it best
Seem hungering and thirsting to hear it like the rest.
And when, in scenes of glory, I sing the new, new song,
'Twill be the old, old story that I have loved so long.
