Here
I am! I stand at the door and knock,
if
anyone hears my voice and opens the door. I will
go in... (Rev. 3:30)
|
Where is the House of God?
If you will open the door by repentance (doing the opposite
of what you have done wrong)
Jesus is ready to enter and bless you.
If any man shall hear my voice, and open the door.
Hear and obey.
Then the Lord will enter, and
they shall partake together of the richness of the feast.
If any man will Willingly receive Jesus.
Jesus will Refresh you with His graces and gifts, and Jesus
will be happy to give all that he has to you
Jesus has a loving desire for a sinner's salvation.
He love us enough to first knock at the door of our hearts.
If He did not knock first, we should never come to knock at
His door.

Softly
and gently Jesus is knocking
Christ
knocks, but does not break open the door
God's undeserved favor for us (Joh 6:44) brings...
repentance
which is Christ's gift (Ac 5:31).
He draws us, but does not drags us.
And this same Jesus is the bread of life, and the
Giver
of the feast in Heaven.

Answering
the Door
The
Lord Jesus presents himself as...
The
Amen; one steady and unchangeable in all his purposes and
promises.
And it is His love that is worth every thing.
Christ expects us to honestly follow him.
Directing
our heart to Him
Wanting
Him to lead our life
He wants us to part with sin and self-confidence,
that we may be filled with his hidden treasure.

Dear
God, I am sorry for the bad things I do. Thank You for sending
Jesus to pay the penalty for my sins. Please change me on
the inside and help keep me from sin so I can live a clean,
new life for You. Amen.
Let us examine ourselves by the rule of his word, and pray
earnestly for the teaching of his Holy Spirit,

Christ still graciously, by his word and Spirit, comes to
the door of our hearts.
When we open to him shall enjoy his presence.
If what he finds would make but a poor feast, what he brings
will supply a rich one.
He
will give fresh supplies of graces, love, and kindness.
And
his mercies are new every morning :)

Jesus
is our high priest over the house of God
This
brings up some big questions...
What
is the House of God?
What
is a temple?
A
place or edifice dedicated to the worship...a sacred place
Where
is the temple today?
And...How
do we enter the temple of God today?
If
we are His believers
If
we are His followers
And
He is our Lord and Saviour
OUR
bodies are now the Temple of God
Because
when he came into us
God
now lives in us...

Hebrews 10:21 19
Therefore,
brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place
by
the blood of Jesus,
20
by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through
the veil, that is, His flesh,
21and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
22 let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance
of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience
and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering,
for He who promised
is faithful;
24 and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love
and good deeds,
25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit
of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as
you see the day drawing near.
Jesus is our high priest over the house of God today...
...And we are his temple

Today
our physical body
the body of the the born again believer is that temple
1
Corinthians 3:16 Know you not that you are the temple of
God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
1
Corinthians 6:19 What? know you not that your body is the
temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have
of God, and you are not your own?

What
does God want from our bodies...?
He
wants us to...
Read
our bible to hear God talk to us
Talk
to God and listen to him

How
do you feel being God's temple?
How does god see you
as
His
temple

How
Awesome is This Place
I see
angels ascending, descending on a stairway from heaven to
earth. At the top stands the Lord, God of Abr'ham. He is mighty.
How awesome is this
place, dear Father, How beautiful the house of God. Your Presence
at the gate of heaven, it is good to be near. It is good to
be here. How awesome is this place, oh Lord.
I feel blessings ascending,
descending on the hearts and the pray'rs of the saints Through
this fellowship, sweet, comes His pleasure. He is lovely!
To the Ancient of
Days be the honor. He is worthy alone to be praised. We will
sing through the ages in Glory "You are Holy!!"
